A Question I’m asked a lot - I’m tired should we train today?

If you are feeling tired, it may not be the best idea to push yourself too hard during training. Overtraining can lead to physical and mental fatigue, injuries, and decreased performance. However, skipping training altogether is also not ideal for maintaining a consistent workout routine and achieving your fitness goals.

Here are some tips that may help you feel better and more energized before a workout:

1. Get enough rest: Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep per night to improve your overall energy levels and reduce fatigue.

2. Hydrate: Drinking enough water throughout the day can help prevent dehydration, which can contribute to fatigue.

3. Eat a balanced meal: Eating a healthy snack or meal before exercising can provide you with the fuel you need to power through your workout.

4. Stretch and warm up: Gentle stretching and warm-up exercises can help prepare your muscles and reduce the risk of injury.

5. Take breaks: If you feel tired during your workout, take short breaks to rest and recover.

6. Listen to your body: Pay attention to your body's signals and adjust your workout intensity or duration accordingly.

Remember, it's important to prioritize your health and well-being above all else. If you consistently feel too tired to train, it may be worth reevaluating your training schedule or consulting with a healthcare professional.
